/ FRANKLIN, Mass. -- Jaco Inc., manufacturers of mobile and wall-mounted EHR workstations, and the leaders in durable, lightweight EHR mobility, today announced Jaco EVO ClearView Storage, a revolutionary new ergonomic storage drawer system for Jaco EVO carts.
Jaco will showcase EVO ClearView Storage, EVO carts and other Jaco innovations throughout the HIMSS 2019 Conference, February 11-15 in Booth #1978.Takes the stress out of storage
ClearView drawers open on the side of the cart, rather than the front, allowing nurses to easily view and access drawer contents without retracting the keyboard tray, stepping back from the cart, rotating the cart or walking around the cart. For nurses, this eliminates repeated motion and awkward movement associated with EHR cart storage, and makes it much easier to work between patient beds, at the medication dispenser or in any crowded setting.
ClearView also makes it easier for nurses to shift visual focus between the computer screen and storage drawers, without losing their place in their EHR applications, which can help reduce the chance of data entry and med administration errors.
And because ClearView cabinets can be mounted on both sides of the cart, EVO carts can be equipped with up to 6 drawers up to 3 per side all mounted high enough to be reached with minimal or no bending.
"ClearView is a perfect example of how Jaco's relentless efforts to simplify cart design benefit our customers," said Fred Rossini, Jaco Founder and CEO. "By simply turning drawers 90 degrees, and without adding motors or electronics or complexity, ClearView makes working with storage so much less stressful, and so much safer and more comfortable for nurses."The lightest cart keeps getting easier for nurses
Introduced last year at HIMSS 2018 in Las Vegas, EVO remains the lightest full-sized, full-shift powered cart available to hospitals. When equipped with 500 Wh of rechargeable LiFePO4
power, EVO has a starting weight of just 72 pounds up to 60 pounds lighter than that of competing powered carts.
EVO's Comfort Glide Lift Technology enables instant, whisper-quiet, one-handed worksurface height adjustment and it's backed by a 10-year limited warranty. EVO's perfect balance and weight distribution makes it easy to roll and maneuver through the longest shifts.
TRAC, Jaco's optional, patented 'centered fifth wheel' motion control system, gives nurses even more precise control over their EVO carts, making it easier to roll straight down long hallways and pivot around tight corners. And now, with ClearView, EVO provides greater storage capacity and exceptional, shift-long storage comfort and convenience.Engineered to last; available now
EVO ClearView storage is built from the same lightweight, aircraft-grade metal used to build Jaco carts. It's finished with the same smooth, non-porous antimicrobial powder coat for superior infection control a finish that doesn't crack or fade, and that can't be applied to plastic. And ClearView is backed by the same 7-year limited warranty on structural components.
ClearView is available today, in multiple configurations for every workflow. For more information, download our product information sheet
